Wendy's Youth Arts Month During the month of March, Wendy's Restaurants of Michigan and ArtServe Michigan exhibited student artwork in over 100 Wendy's Restaurants throughout Michigan. Elementary school coordinators collect, mount and hang for display about 40 works in each restaurant. The exhibits remain on display throughout the month. See the 2005 Best of Show winners. During this annual event, Wendy's Restaurants provides certificates of recognition and gift certificates for students whose work is displayed. The theme of Youth Arts Month is enhanced by table tents, tray liners and posters promoting the value of the visual arts for children. Many restaurant managers host a celebration event and invite the teachers, parents and students to recognize the accomplishments of each child. In some cases the restaurants also host an artist-in-residence who displays his/her skill on a Saturday to give children and parents a chance to see a 'real' artist at work. ArtServe Michigan is proud to celebrate this exciting and very meaningful educational program.
