 WELCOME TO ARTSERVE MICHIGAN
On May 1,1997 four
organizations -- Arts Foundation of Michigan, Business Volunteers for the Arts, Concerned
Citizens for the Arts in Michigan and Michigan Alliance for Arts Education -- joined to
become ArtServe Michigan.
This historic
merger unifies 32 combined years of arts leadership into a single agency with a new
synergy and greatly enhanced services to arts and culture throughout Michigan.
At its highest
level of operation, ArtServe Michigan brings together citizens whose legitimate
differences can freely coexist within the celebration of the spirit. These aims are
captured in ArtServe Michigan's mission statement:
 |
